Ulaş Can Levent

Biography

Ulaş Levent is a Molecular Biology and Genetics undergraduate student at Başkent University with a strong interest in molecular diagnostics and biotechnology. He has gained laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques and diagnostic assay development through academic and industry-based projects. He has contributed to the development of diagnostic technologies, including a rapid diagnostic kit designed for detecting viral infections in animals. He also developed a quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) assay targeting bacterial infections as part of a TÜBİTAK-supported research project, focusing on improving diagnostic accuracy while reducing testing cost and time. Alongside his laboratory work, he gained experience in organizational processes through an internship in human resources and management, where he supported resource management and team coordination. He is currently working as an R&D intern at Zirvegen Biotechnology.
